WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible start time of either 7.30am, 8.00am or 9.00am

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative / Storesperson who has worked within a vehicle, plant or machinery warehouse / depot / stores environment with excellent customer service delivery experience.
Working as the Warehouse Operative / Storesperson you will receive, store, issue and record the traceability of all materials, fluid, equipment, spares, tools, PPE, consumables, and client provided materials on the site.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Warehouse Operative / Storesperson include:
Materials issue:
- Identify and understand the requirements of the technician
- Issue materials to the GSE Technicians
- Provide prompt and courteous counter service, and respond to telephone calls promptly
Goods inward:
- Check and receive deliveries to site
- Organisation and maintenance of goods received quarantine area
- Collection of goods from suppliers as and when required
Stock Control:
- Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory
- Ensure stock items have appropriate bar codes attached and there is full traceability of all stored items
- Ensure all items are located correctly and stock control system is updated with location
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Requirement for the Warehouse Operative / Storesperson include:
- Customer oriented and service delivery focussed
- Understanding of stores procedures and systems, with experience gained in a vehicle, plant or machinery parts/stores environment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with good organisational skills, as part of a team or individually
- Literate, analytical and numerate with good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to obtain an airside pass which requires a criminal record check and 5 year history verification
- A valid UK driving licence
