Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter with excellent coordination and organisational skills, previous end-to-end recruitment experience and a passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience is required to support all recruitment across the Distrelec Group.

 

SALARY: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid working – both from home and from the office in Manchester City Centre

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a passionate and intuitive Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter with excellent coordination and organisational skills, previous end-to-end recruitment experience and a passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience.

As the Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter you will predominantly support in the recruitment of our IT/Tech growth plans in Manchester, whilst supporting all our hiring managers on recruitment across Europe.

In addition to sourcing and recruiting talent across the Group, the Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter will have plenty of important processes and initiatives to help us improve and develop.

We also have exciting projects including Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, improving the candidate experience and building our employer brand.  The Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter will be the lead on all these exciting initiatives.

DUTIES

Your responsibilities as the Global Talent Acquisition Specialist / In-House Recruiter will include:

  • Proactively attract, source and select, through a variety of channels such as LinkedIn and Reed.co.uk, the right people to meet the business needs of today
  • Manage candidates and hiring managers through all aspects of the recruitment process, from agreeing the most appropriate selection and assessment methods, shortlisting candidates, arranging and coordinating interviews, providing candidate feedback, making offers and supporting through the onboarding process
  • Be the main point of contact with recruitment agencies and 3rd parties across the Group on all recruitment
  • Reduce time to hire and agency costs, identify efficiencies and other cost savings throughout the recruitment process and provide data and insights on the topic on a monthly basis/ as required
  • Build & maintain internal & external networks in Distrelec & the industry to gain a solid understanding of the relevant markets and competitor landscape and be able to provide market intelligence
  • Build and manage a diverse talent pool of candidates and ensure recruitment requirements across the Distrelec Group are delivered
  • Coach and guide the HM through the assessment & selection process, ensuring the appropriate selection methods are used to drive objective decision making
  • Assist with employer branding and ensure we offer a positive candidate experience (Attending events, social media, etc)
  • Keep accurate records of the recruitment process according to data protection policies and handle associated administration

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous end-to-end recruitment experience operating as a Recruitment Specialist/In-House Recruiter (essential)
  • Previous experience of recruiting within Tech (desirable)
  • An analytical and inquisitive mindset with the ability to produce meaningful MI and insights (essential)
  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills with great attention to detail (essential)
  • Fantastic networking and stakeholder management skills with the ability to connect to a variety of audiences proactively (essential)
  • A passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience (essential)
  • Trustworthy and reliable (essential)
  • Knowledge and experience of varied online and direct sourcing of candidates (including social/ professional networking)
  • Experience of creating resourcing strategies to identify a pipeline and pool of talent for the group (desirable)
  • Experience of recruitment across Europe (desirable)
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
