This is much more than a normal stocktaking role. You will develop long-term business relationships with your allocated clients, providing professional advice and support relating to running a hospitality business as well as carrying out your stocktaking responsibilities for the company.
SALARY: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Competitive Mileage Allowance
LOCATION: This role will require travelling to restaurants, pubs, bars and retail entertainment venues around Central London and the South East – particularly Dartford, Sidcup and West Kingsdown areas.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this role you will need access to your own vehicle (very competitive mileage allowances paid)
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Stocktake Auditor / Stocktaker / Retail Hospitality Advisor that has previous wet and dry stocktaking experience who is personable with great customer service skills and the ability to provide a first-class advisory and support service to your hospitality client base.
Working as the Stocktake Auditor / Stocktaker / Retail Hospitality Advisor you will manage a number of clients within the hospitality sector based in your designated area. Each week you will plan your schedule to visit each hospitality establishment to carry out a detailed stock take. You will also provide advice and support to the business, helping them to become more profitable by running an efficient and productive service.
As the Stocktake Auditor / Stocktaker / Retail Hospitality Advisor you will also be required to analyse the results, running stocktake reports on their EPoS systems and work with the individual businesses to help improve the utilisation of their stock, which in turn will improve their profitability.
Travel around your designated area is essential as part of this role, and you must have access to your own vehicle.
As a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:
- You will need previous industry experience
- Must have experience using EPoS systems such as running stocktake reports, adding items etc. Any experience using Zonal systems would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent organisation, time-management and administrative skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be PC literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office including MS Excel
- Have a good understanding of sales yields
