Senior Commercial Sales Manager who excellent account management, new business development and negotiation skills is required for a ‘hands on’ role with a fast growing Facilities Management Service Provider based in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

 

SALARY: £45,000 OTE (includes a Basic Salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience)

LOCATION: Wednesbury, West Midlands (WS10) – Candidates must live within a 30 minute commute to the office

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Commercial Sales Manager with excellent account management, business development and negotiation skills.

Working as the Senior Commercial Sales Manager you will not only be the head of the sales team but also drive the business development of the Commercial arm of the business. As well as being responsible for maximising all sales opportunities through a structured, pro-active approach to develop new business whilst maintaining existing business relationships.

As the Senior Commercial Sales Manager you will be self-motivated, with confidence in B2B selling and presenting to clients of all levels in order to secure soft service commercial business contracts, such as Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance and Window Cleaning and also hard service for their Repairs and Maintenance department within the facilities sector.

The successful candidate will be commercially and results driven and a proven successful “closer” with a positive pro-active approach to generating new business whilst managing and maintaining existing business, a skilled people manager with strong communication skills.

This is a self-led lead generation role, client facing position with much business secured in face-to-face prospecting.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Senior Commercial Sales Manager will include:

  • Managing and overseeing the sales team of 2 other people. 1 working in residential sales plus a sales department administrator
  • Secure and develop new business and grow existing accounts
  • Generate appointment making, marketing, with customer appointments made to suit the client
  • Positively approach all sales opportunities in order to maximise sales revenue and exceed budgeted sales targets / objectives
  • Prepare annual sales business plans and rolling 3 monthly sales plans in line with KPI’s
  • Create and maintain contact with existing customers, developing greater service awareness
  • Follow all Company guidelines and sales disciplines when meeting with clients
  • Monitor competitors’ performance each month, review performance for the top performing accounts
  • Attend and present at breakfast clubs, networking events etc
  • Achieve and exceed set objectives set at monthly sales meetings and business reviews
  • Produce and submit business tender opportunities
  • Organise and carryout client entertaining as and where appropriate
