We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Officer / Risk and Compliance Analyst who has an in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements set out by the FCA / Financial Conduct Authority.

Working as the Regulatory Compliance Officer / Risk and Compliance Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s operations comply with all relevant regulatory requirements set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

As the Regulatory Compliance Officer / Risk and Compliance Analyst you produce detailed reports, liaise with the senior management team and stay updated on changes in regulations to ensure the company adapts accordingly.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Regulatory Compliance Officer / Risk and Compliance Analyst include:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure the company’s operations comply with FCA / Financial Conduct Authority regulations and other relevant legal requirements
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure the company adapts accordingly
  • Develop and implement compliance monitoring programs to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards

Policy Development:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures
  • Review and update policies regularly to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices
  • Ensure all policies are effectively communicated and accessible to all staff

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks within the organisation
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure they are effectively implemented
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management

Monitoring and Auditing:

  • Conduct regular audits and monitoring activities to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Develop and maintain audit schedules and ensure timely completion of all audits
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective actions where necessary

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required
  • Develop and maintain compliance dashboards and other reporting tools
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and meet regulatory requirements

Incident Management:

  • Investigate and manage compliance incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
  • Develop and implement incident management procedures
  • Maintain records of all incidents and ensure they are reported to the relevant authorities as required

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders on compliance matters
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Represent the company in regulatory meetings and other external engagements

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a compliance role within a debt management agency or similar
  • In-depth understanding of FCA / Financial Conduct Authority regulations and other relevant legal requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Senior stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
