SALARY: £50,788 - £56,075 pro rata + Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid split between working from home and the office in Wokingham.

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Programme Manager with proven experience of delivering and managing projects within Housing Services, staff management skills and ability to interpret technical Housing designs and concepts.
Working as the IT Programme Manager you will play a key role in the successful delivery and monitoring of core strategic programmes within a portfolio of change, with a proven experience of delivering projects within Housing Services.
As the IT Programme Manager you will provide knowledge and experience of leading/managing programmes of work including the following system suite – Housing Repairs, NEC Housing & Housing on Line, and workflow improvement into NEC Housing, to support automation, avoiding duplication and new system portals integration.
DUTIES
Your duties as the IT Programme Manager include:
- Supporting the daily delivery of Housing projects with collaboration across Directorates
- Improving Housing front door and online presence
- Delivering a new Repairs contract, including systems, data migration, and integration with NEC Housing
- Coordinating a strategic portfolio, working closely with the Service Manager Housing and Technology, Business Change Managers, PMO, and Project Managers
- Tracking Programme level related risks across the organisation, facilitating risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders
- Leading, motivating, and developing staff involved with Projects and Programmes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and managing strong stakeholder relationships
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to grasp and interpret high and low-level technical Housing designs, articulate technical concepts to stakeholders, and pass on knowledge to colleagues
- Project Management: Proven ability in managing projects, other managers, and staff to achieve agreed outputs within budget, including benefit realisation
- Organisational Skills: Highly developed organisational skills, good communication skills, and good inter-personal skills
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work on own initiative, solve problems, and take decisions to secure required results
Knowledge of the following is essential:
- Health check of NEC Housing
- Implementation of additional functionality to support service transformation
- System delivery of new Repairs contract - expected that supplier will provide systems, data migration required and integration with NEC Housing
- Improvement of Housing front door and online presence
