ADDITIONAL TRAINING PROVIDED
Ideally you will have a trades and office based background. However, if not the company will consider a good trades person who ideally has worked on heating, gas, air conditioning or ventilation systems and who wants to move into an office based role, as they will provide training on the office based processes. However, you must be computer literate and have good written and verbal communication skills.
SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits (Casual Dress, Pension, On-Site Parking, Company Events)
LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands (100% Office Based)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Heating Engineer, Gas Engineer, Plumber, Air Conditioning Technician, Ventilation Engineer or someone who has a solid Trades background and who wants to work on commercial projects within an office based position, where you will take on the role of a HVAC / Gas & Heating Engineer Project Coordinator within the team.
Working as a HVAC / Gas & Heating Engineer Project Coordinator you will play a pivotal role on a range of commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Projects, which will involve outlining the projects objectives, setting budgets, preparing project-based paperwork, coordinating Engineers and project-based Team Members and ensuring the project has all the resources required to complete on time and within budget.
As the HVAC / Gas & Heating Engineer Project Coordinator you will also be responsible for the Nationwide Service Contracts, such as scheduling and organising reactive remedial works, liaising with customers and Service Engineers, updating the system and genera office administration duties.

DUTIES
After your fully trained up on the office side of things your duties as the HVAC Project and Service Coordinator include:
- Outline project objectives clearly
- Take part in project meetings and proposing adjustments
- Set and adhere to a budget that implements cost-saving measures
- Consistently monitor the costs, progress and quality of a project
- Organise all project-related paperwork
- Communicate with project manager to continuously define project objectives
- Raise purchase orders with contractors and suppliers
- Coordinate all project team members so workflow remains on schedule
- Project management and key action performance progress tracking
- Keep the team on track to ensure delivery of key priorities
- Coordinate and manage event outputs and follow up
- Note taking, write up and digital filing
- Support various programmes and projects
- Support building clarity of process including ways of working
- Prepare ‘operation and maintenance’ manuals for completed sites
- Raise project and service invoices
- Work within the existing team, to support service delivery nationwide
- Coordinate response to emergency and remedial callouts
- Schedule and organise reactive remedial works
- Promptly answer all incoming departmental calls
- Administer and update the service portal and revenue forecast
- Action all customer queries and requests in a timely manner, escalating as required
- Liaise efficiently with customers, service engineers
- Raise and process supplier and subcontractor purchase orders
- Develop knowledge of all relevant IT systems
- General office administration duties
- Update customer Portals as needed
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working as a Heating Engineer, Gas Engineer, Plumber, Air Conditioning Technician, Ventilation Engineer or have a solid Trades background
- Ability to work within a team, as well as being self-motivated
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads for self and others.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
- Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
- Administrative experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough attention to detail
- Liaise with service manager to ensure cover of work and take instructions
- Have an eye for detail and keep meticulous notes
- Passionate about delivering service excellence
- Understanding of pricing and costing a service job
