SALARY: £48,000 - £62,000 per annum + Benefits

Working as the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Officer / Advisor / DEI Manager you will take a strategic and hands-on role in advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion within the company.
As the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Officer / Advisor / DEI Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives that promote an inclusive culture and ensure compliance with equality legislation. This role will require a deep understanding of EDI principles, excellent knowledge of relevant laws, and proven experience in managing EDI programmes.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Officer / Advisor / DEI Manager include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with the business objectives
- Lead and manage DEI initiatives across the organisation, ensuring they are embedded in all aspects of the business
- Monitor and report on the progress of DEI initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders
- Provide expert advice and guidance on equality legislation, ensuring the company remains compliant with all legal requirements
- Conduct training and workshops to raise awareness and understanding of DEI issues among employees at all levels
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure DEI principles are integrated into recruitment, retention, and professional development processes
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all matters relating to diversity, equality, and inclusion
- Analyse data and produce reports to measure the effectiveness of DEI programmes and identify areas for improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with external organisations and networks to stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in DEI
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a DEI role, with a successful track record of leading and implementing DEI initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of equality legislation and its application within the workplace
- Strong understanding of the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion, with the ability to translate these into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of DEI initiatives
- Experience in delivering training and workshops on DEI topics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect within the workplace
