Senior Digital Innovation and Transformation Service Manager who is a visionary and has experience of AI and Automation technologies, developing and driving digital transformation and innovation strategies with excellent leadership and management skills is required for a Digital and Technology Team (DDaT) at a well-established organisation based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

This role is known within the organisation as a Service Manager – Digital Innovation

Successful candidates will need to have experience of Microsoft technologies, specifically Power platform: PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI; CRM and low code development platforms. In addition to this you will lead on strategy, liaising with our Service Managers.

 

SALARY:  £62,222 - £68,120 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid split between working from home and the office in Wokingham.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Digital Innovation and Transformation Service Manager who is a visionary and has experience of AI and Automation technologies, developing and driving digital transformation and innovation strategies with excellent leadership and management skills.

Working as the Senior Digital Innovation and Transformation Service Manager you will lead the development and implementation of the digital innovation strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organisation’s overall objectives.  This will include identifying and exploring emerging technologies to improve service delivery, whilst ensuring they remain at the forefront of technological advances and use of insight to develop leading edge solutions.

As the Senior Digital Innovation and Transformation Service Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of digital specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, as well as forging strategic relationships with Directors and Leadership teams to enable successful digital outcomes for the future.

 

DUTIES

Your duties as the Senior Digital Innovation and Transformation Service Manager will include:

  • Work collaboratively with Service Managers in the Digital, Data and Technology service and wider senior leadership team and stakeholders to deliver the objectives of the Digital and Technology Strategy
  • Lead digital improvement projects within the organisation’s Customer Excellence Programmes
  • Lead the Digital Innovation function to make sure digital services are easy to use and focused on user needs, whilst delivering maximum efficiency
  • Explore and exploit digital opportunities in both existing and emerging technologies specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation
  • Seek to understand and actively develop opportunities for digital service provision and new business, working in close collaboration with the Commercialisation Programme
  • Be a leadership role model, creating an environment of support, coaching, trust and ownership that empowers the colleagues in Digital Service

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record in driving digital transformation within the public sector or a similar environment
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience of AI and Automation Technologies
  • Experience of Microsoft technologies specifically Power platform: PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Experience of CRM and low code development platforms
