SALARY: £30,864 - £33,198 per annum

WORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per Week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Social Media Officer who has a wide range of digital marketing skills from social media content management and creation, copywriting, Google Analytics and experience using social media channels from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

Working as a Senior Digital Marketing Social Media Officer you will be working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation and support the Digital

Manager to implement strong strategies and empower staff around the world to put social medial platforms to good use in achieving the company’s mission and values.

You’ll lead on community engagement through global channels, and drive continuous improvement through opportunity spotting and proactive reporting to inform decisions.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Social Media Officer your main role will be to drive and develop the company’s profile across social media platforms, working with colleagues to curate digital content that reaches out to audiences and tells the company’s story in a compelling and engaging way.

 

DUTIES

Your role as a Senior Digital Marketing Social Media Officer will in include:

  • Lead on community management across all digital channels, monitoring engagement activity, responding to comments and/or escalating as appropriate
  • Oversee the use of social media management, listening and reporting tool
  • Support media and influencer engagement, proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities to build relationships with relevant prospects
  • Ensure channels are well maintained across the organisation, working across international teams to maintain branding, messaging and accurate records
  • Develop a social media plan and be responsible for championing social media strategy across the organisation
  • Lead on community engagement across social media channels, working with teams to educate and collaborate with colleagues to create effective social media plans
  • Lead optimisation of user experience across channels
  • Deliver training and guidance on social media channels to colleagues with a range of experience and expertise
  • Promote social media use to colleagues, advising on how it can support their business objectives
  • Work collaboratively to manage the production, editing and publication of engaging, on brand digital content
  • Work with senior stakeholders on a wide variety of fundraising appeals, marketing campaigns and profile-raising activity

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant degree for example advertising, public relations, business, digital marketing, media and journalism or technical or relevant equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of strategic management of a variety of social media channels, including as part of a multi-channel ecosystem
  • Excellent digital content producer, with experience of multimedia content creation, copywriting and proof-reading ability
  • Proven track record of delivering results through strategic social media activity, including the ability to attract and retain audiences through social networking
  • Knowledge and understanding of the differentiations between digital content, audiences, functional specifications and best practice across channels
  • Experience in researching, understanding and targeting content to specific identified audiences
  • Experienced user of social media management and analytics tools
  • Ability to turn digital data into insight, interpreting metrics in simple terms to create accessible reports
  • A creative and collaborative approach
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to turn complex subject matter into engaging, concise and accurate stories
