SALARY: After 3 months service you can earn:
- £11.06 per Hour Monday to Friday
LOCATION: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, East Midlands
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Flexibility on hours and working pattern within the dairy operating hours of 6am – 2pm seven days a week
We’re looking for hardworking, enthusiastic team players to join the team as a Dairy Operative who are passionate about working for an award-winning cheese manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Your duties as a Dairy Operative include:
- Responsible for the production and collating of all products in a well-presented manner in line with customer specifications
- Support the line leader in achieving the departmental objectives on the line
- Timely and accurate end of day dismantling and cleaning of the line, equipment, tools and work area where appropriate
- Responsible for and ensuring product quality is maintained in accordance with quality standards
- Undertake relevant training as and when required and perform functions in line with training and work instructions
Experience & Skills:
As the Dairy Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
- Hardworking and able to work under pressure
- Good level of fitness – will be required to handle heavy objects, and use a pallet truck or moving aid in accordance with manual handling training
- Good level of coordination and quality focused
- Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months)
- Good standard of spoken and written English
