Customer Service Advisor who has excellent customer facing, organisational, administrative and telephone communication skills with a friendly, helpful and professional manner when interacting with customers is required for a Vehicle Servicing Department’s Reception Desk with a well-established, leading car dealership based in Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire, South West England.

 

SALARY: £28,500 per annum + up to £2,500 Annual Bonus

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm with an hour lunch break. Every other Saturday morning 8am – 1pm

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity on the company’s Vehicle Servicing Department’s Reception Desk for a Customer Service Advisor who has excellent customer facing, organisational, administrative and telephone communication skills with a friendly, helpful and professional manner when interacting with customers.

Working on the company’s Vehicle Servicing Department’s Reception Desk as a Customer Service Advisor you will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and care at all times for clients booking in vehicles for servicing and repairs.

As the Customer Service Advisor you will be the principle point of contact for all customer communication while the vehicle is in the Retail Centre. You will also have great listening skills to quickly identify the needs of customers with the ability to work to timescales in a busy service department.

As a successful applicant you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience using Microsoft Office / 365 and have the ability to pick up in-house computer packages quickly.

You will also be comfortable working in a busy environment within a customer-facing position, delivering the highest standards of customer care in a professional and confident manner, which is essential for the role.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Customer Service Advisor whilst working on the company’s Vehicle Servicing Department’s Reception Desk will include:

  • Provide an outstanding level of customer care ensuring the highest standards of satisfaction at all times
  • Book vehicle service and repair work
  • Keep customers fully informed of progress and advise of extra work needed
  • Organise loan car bookings
  • Invoice on time and accurately
  • Obtain and process payments according to company policy
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Make telephone follow-up / Progress calls
