Accounts Administrator / Finance Administration Assistant who has a good level of bookkeeping and payroll experience with solid administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills is required for a busy Chartered Accountants based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

 

SALARY: Negotiable Based on Experience 

LOCATION: King’s Lynn, Norfolk (this is an office-based role)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

Ideally, we’re looking for candidates on a full-time basis. However, part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Accounts Administrator / Finance Administration Assistant who has a good level bookkeeping and payroll experience with solid administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills.

Working as the Accounts Administrator / Finance Administration Assistant you will process payroll for a number of clients, ensuring the details entered are correct and the payroll goes out as scheduled.

As the Accounts Administrator / Finance Administration Assistant you will also use a range of accounting software to carry out bookkeeping tasks such as updating ledgers, reconciling bank accounts and completing VAT returns for the Firm’s clients.

This position offers more than just carrying out accountancy tasks. As a successful candidate you will work within a small team and will also need to carry out administrative duties such as preparing documents, excel spreadsheets, typing, covering the reception and answering the phone.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Accounts Administrator / Finance Administration Assistant you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience of working with computerised payroll, accounts production and database packages
  • A good working knowledge of VAT accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be confident in dealing with clients and professional staff at all levels
  • Be flexible and willing to learn new systems and processes
