Account Manager / Business Development Sales Executive who has B2B Account Management and business development skills with the ability to upsell and support existing clients whilst developing new business opportunities is required for a well-established company based in Sloane Square, London (SW1W).

 

SALARY:  £65,000 OTE      

LOCATION: Hybrid. Split between working from Home (3 days per week) and the office in London, SW1W (2 days per week)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Account Manager / Business Development Sales Executive who has B2B Account Management and business development skills with the ability to upsell and support existing clients whilst developing new business opportunities.

The company sells subscription / licencing services on a large scale to businesses. Previous experience would be great. Although, not essential as the company will provide additional product training and support. However, you must have a great account management background with the ability to generate new business opportunities, preferably within a B2B environment.

Working as an Account Manager / Business Development Sales Executive you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, renewing contracts and upselling a range of products and services.

As the Account Manager / Business Development Sales Executive you will also be responsible for following up on leads passed over from the marketing team, identifying and developing new business opportunities, sending over quotations and proposals and closing new business.

This is a pivotal role that requires a proactive approach, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong sales acumen.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Account Manager / Business Development Sales Executive include:

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
  • Proactively renew client contracts, ensuring seamless transitions and continued service
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services to meet clients’ evolving needs
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and acquire new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions tailored to client requirements
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in account management, business development / sales
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
