Job Description

Technical Support Help Desk Customer Services Advisor that has an interest in technology with excellent telephone communication and listening skills is required for a well-established Company based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, North East England.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an IT Support role

 

SALARY: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

There is also the opportunity to work towards a Senior Advisor role within 12 months with pay increases along the way as well as an annual salary increase based on your yearly performance

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Technical Support Help Desk Customer Services Advisor include:

  • Answering inbound telephone calls, providing best in class service and technical support on a range of products.
  • Every call is different, every caller is different, yet the Company’s delivery standards remain the same and you will be required to provide a first-class response to each enquiry, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is received
  • You will bring your personality to every call, adapting your style to reflect your customer, ensuring a unique experience from the get go
  • Your calls could be a straight forward simple query, or slightly more complex, requiring a step by step walk through approach with your customer, therefore patience, knowledge and innovation is essential
  • With active listening, and effective questioning skills, you will troubleshoot, establish root cause, and provide a first-time resolution of every call

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • You will be technically minded and PC literate
  • You will be articulate with proven customer service experience
  • Have the customer at the very heart of everything you do
  • Show a positive approach and a can-do attitude
  • Are able to work within a fast paced, engaging environment
