Junior HVAC Technical Sales Engineer with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, who is a logical and creative thinker is required to join the Industrial Sales Team of a well-established company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

 

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED - Whilst some previous HVAC technical knowledge and experience would be desirable, it is not essential and training will be provided for the right candidate

 

SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid role – working between home, a co-working space in Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS11) and on the road

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

 

Key Requirement: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior HVAC Technical Sales Engineer with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, who is a logical and creative thinker.

Working as the Junior HVAC Technical Sales Engineer you will assist the Sales Team in a manner that allows the company to maximise sales for the water and industrial markets.

As the Junior HVAC Technical Sales Engineer you will work from home, from the office and will also visit sites to undertake surveys.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Junior HVAC Technical Sales Engineer will include:

  • Analysing drawings, specifications, scope and other documentation to prepare estimates in line with client requirements
  • Visiting sites to undertake surveys and produce associated reports and tenders
  • Production of accurate quotations including:
    • Interpretation of client requirements and ensuring compliance with client’s standards
    • Production equipment/plant/parts lists and any other information required
    • Liaising with customers, suppliers and project managers to ensure cost effectiveness
    • Attending site meetings
    • Carrying out site investigation work as required
  • Liaising with the Design & Estimation Team to generate an estimation for the potential projects
  • Maintaining quotation records as required
  • Communication with clients
  • Ensuring sent enquiries are followed-up with the client
  • Updating MEL & Sales Forecast and ensuring enquiries are logged, won and handed over efficiently
  • Construct and formulate estimates and resolve commercial issues where minor
  • Ensuring an effective handover of jobs to the project delivery team
  • Liaising with the Project Delivery Team to generate a programme of works for projects
  • To liaise with Project Delivery Team and understand labour requirements of a project

Desirable

  • HVAC knowledge and experience
  • Bachelors degree in a Science / Engineering based subject
  • Apprenticeship in engineering field
