SALARY: £17,714 - £19,742 pro rata

As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will predominantly be working with very small groups of children or individual support, under the direction of the class teacher. We promote a therapeutic approach, creating a safe and nurturing environment in which our pupils can work and learn.

As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will have the following:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- A qualification of minimum NVQ level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent, or equivalent experience working in a school
- Hold experience or an interest working within an SEMH setting or supporting children with challenging behaviour
- The ability to use your initiative
- The ability to communicate effectively with children and parents and work as part of our dedicated and caring staff team
