Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader who is caring, compassionate, understanding and has a passion for supporting and working with children with good leadership and supervisory experience is required to join our fantastic team at Five Rivers Child Care

SALARY: £21,560 - £25,450 per annum (depending on experience) + £36 per sleep in + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Salisbury, Wiltshire

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 39 hours per week – you must be able to commit to between 2-3 sleep ins per week

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader who is caring, compassionate, understanding and has a passion for supporting and working with children with good leadership and supervisory experience.

Here at Five Rivers Child Care we are looking for a Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader to come and join our Residential Services in and around the Salisbury area.  Our children come from a traumatic start to life and as a team leader you will help guide the more junior members of the team to give these children a childhood with no trauma and be role models for both children and staff.

The role of the Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader can be challenging at times, and you will need to be emotionally aware and resilient to be able to support the children and young people, and the staff team you are working with.  

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader, you will have the following:

  • Must have a Full UK driving licence - this is essential as you will be driving with the children in the car
  • Must have a passion to work with children
  • QCF Level 3 Children & Young people workforce or Health & Social Care is desirable, if you do not have this qualification, we will put you through it
  • Flexibility and understanding is a must, as we are open all year round
  • Must have an expert understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Must have previous experience in shift leading
  • Must have experience in working in a children’s home
