Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader who is caring, compassionate, understanding and has a passion for supporting and working with children is required to join our fantastic team at Five Rivers Child Care.

SALARY: £24,705 - £28,595 per annum + £36 per sleep in + Generous Benefits (See Below)

We are looking for experienced Residential Child Care Support Workers who are looking for that next step to becoming a Team Leader or a current Team / Shift Leader who is looking to move to a Trauma informed organisation supporting and nurturing our children.

Our new home is a four bedded home where you will be faced with challenging behaviours at times, as with any residential setting, following the Therapeutic Model, as a Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader, you will be a role model to the Children and Young People. You will also mentor junior team members of the Team and as part of the leadership team you will be mentoring the new Residential Child Care Workers to the organisation.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Residential Child Care Support Worker Team Leader, you will have the following:

  • Must have a Full UK driving licence - this is essential
  • Must have a passion to work with children
  • QCF Level 3 Children & Young people workforce or Health & Social Care is desirable, if you do not have this qualification, we will put you through it
  • Flexibility and understanding is a must, as we are open all year round
  • Must have an expert understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Must have previous experience in shift leading
  • Must have experience in working in a children’s home
