CCTV Gaming Security and Casino Surveillance Officer who has extensive experience in gaming surveillance with in-depth knowledge of gaming, relevant legislation and all aspects of Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice to ensure compliance with the Gaming Commission is required by a well-established Casino in Central London.

SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum    

LOCATION: Central London

JOB TYPE: Full Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week over Various Shift Patterns over 24/7. Candidates must be flexible to the working hours required by a busy casino.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have previous Gaming / Casino Industry experience and hold either a PFL / Personal Functional Licence or PML / Personal Management Licence issued by the Gambling Commission

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CCTV Gaming Security and Casino Surveillance Officer who has extensive experience in gaming surveillance with in-depth knowledge of gaming, relevant legislation and all aspects of Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice to ensure compliance with the Gaming Commission.

Working as a CCTV Gaming Security and Casino Surveillance Officer you will ensure the company complies with the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 and Licensing Act by reporting any breaches of these acts to your manager, ensuring gaming is conducted according to the Rules of Casino Games and Company procedures and provide any investigatory support to the Head of Security and Surveillance EMA.

As the CCTV Gaming Security and Casino Surveillance Officer you will have excellent customer service and inter-personal skills with excellent report writing and computer skills. You will also have previous industry experience and hold either a PFL / Personal Functional Licence or PML / Personal Management Licence.

DUTIES

Your duties as the CCTV Gaming Security and Casino Surveillance Officer will include:

  • Support and report to the Surveillance Supervisor in respect of all aspects of gaming surveillance or other investigatory work
  • Ensure that the Company complies with the objectives of the Gambling Act 2005 and Licensing Act 2003 (as amended) and report any breaches promptly
  • Ensure gaming is conducted according to the Rules of Casino Games and Company procedures and report any breaches promptly
  • Ensure that effective levels of live gaming surveillance are maintained to monitor that all operations are being conducted in accordance with Company Policy and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation, relevant regulations and associated Guidance Notes in all areas including, for example, Anti-money laundering and Countering Terrorist Financing, gaming, (insofar as this relates to the functions performed by the department), and to report any breaches promptly
  • Ensure that surveillance capabilities are maintained to a high standard
  • Provide investigatory support to the Head of Security and Surveillance EMEA, Surveillance Supervisor, Group Operations Director and casino management in relation to all aspects of internal investigations involving allegations of dishonesty and serious breaches of Company policy and procedures
  • Assist the Surveillance Supervisor to carry out regular checks and audits of all gaming assets and surveillance equipment (CCTV, access and intruder controls) to ensure that it is properly maintained

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A highly motivated individual with an extensive, proven and stable experience in gaming surveillance in a land-based casino
  • An in-depth working knowledge of gaming, relevant legislation and all aspects of Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills with peers and senior management
  • Excellent report writing and computer skills with a good working knowledge of all current software and databases
  • Naturally methodical and attentive to detail
  • Be proactive, self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Have a clear passion for quality and the customer experience
  • Must hold a Personal Functional Licence
  • A high level of personal integrity

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in gaming surveillance and/or proven gaming dealing skills
  • Have a good working knowledge of CCTV, access and intruder control systems
  • Has a good working knowledge of all aspects of data management, computer systems and other forms of electronic media
