We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Manager who has good team management and leadership skills with a good manufacturing technical sales background.
Working as the Sales Manager you will:
- Develop and achieve annual sales forecasts
- Lead and motivate the sales team (internal and field) through the implementation of business development strategy, KPI’s and controls
- Maximise the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of the team
- Develop strong relationships internally and externally with a wide range of customers and dealers/distributors
- Work well internally with cross function departments including, marketing, finance and new product development – looking at all ways to improve market awareness and knowledge, product portfolio and in turn drive sales

- A leader of people with a track record of success getting the best from a team through training, mentoring and development
- Knowledge and experience working across various industries such as Defence, Police and Security, Oil and Gas, Medical and Broadcast would be a distinct advantage
- Someone able to set high standards for all aspects of sales to include written and verbal communications, quotations and provision of technical information
- Knowledge and experience of manufacturing materials and processes would be an advantage
- You will be familiar with the demands of selling a range of engineered products in a B2B environment
- You will have excellent computer skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
