Telesales Advisor / Business Development Sales Agent with enthusiasm and a drive for success, excellent communication skills and a successful track record within sales is required for a well-established telecoms company based in Crawley, West Sussex.

 

SALARY: £18,000 per annum + Commission

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 8 hours per day, plus lunch and morning and afternoon break

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Telesales Advisor / Business Development Sales Agent with enthusiasm and a drive for success, excellent communication skills and a successful track record within sales.

As the Telesales Advisor / Business Development Sales Agent you will work as part of a driven and lively team and will be responsible for delivering the sales cycle for existing and prospective business customers in your territory.  You will identify appointment opportunities, build customer relationships and close sales opportunities.

Working as the Telesales Advisor / Business Development Sales Agent you will understand your targets and be driven to achieve or exceed them whilst ensuring and promoting a portfolio of market leading services to customers.

DUTIES

Your main duties and responsibilities as the Telesales Advisor / Business Development Sales Agent will include:

  • Uncovering and identifying new business sales opportunities, for new and existing customers
  • Identifying appointment opportunities and setting appointments for existing, lapsed, and new customers
  • Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets
  • Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way
  • Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system, accurately and on time
  • Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets
  • To sell the full range of products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products, and services to these customers
  • Resolving customer complaints where necessary and maintaining ownership within the company
  • Conform to all company operational processes or compliance requirements
  • Carrying out other duties as requested by the team on a business need basis
  • Ensuring the highest standard of professional conduct and service both to customers and colleagues

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Experience / Skills

  • A Successful track record within sales, ideally gained within the telecoms industry
  • Evidence of meeting/exceeding sales targets, and understanding of target deadlines
  • Enthusiasm and drive for success
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Understanding and experience in the B2B market
  • Ability to create new sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Ability to negotiate and close high contract value deals
  • Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases
  • Accurate and timely data entry skills
  • Have a sound understanding of products and solutions, IT Telephony
  • Would be advantageous to have sales skills or knowledge of the mobile market
  • Evidence of being able to recognise sales opportunities
  • Can demonstrate ability to handle high workloads and prioritise tasks
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems, in particular Salesforce
