We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join us in our NEW Residential Setting based in Rochester, Kent.
Our New service is for young people aged 14+ upon admission, who will stay with us for a tailored 16-week assessment led programme opening in Winter 2021.
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for leading shifts, preparing supervision for support staff as well as working closely with the Young People and their families. You will directly contribute to the delivery of the highest standards of care, protection and support to children who require a 16 - week assessment (TALE). You will be part of the team identifying the most suitable permanency placement and by facilitating their physical, social, psychological, and emotional development through the application of our Attachment Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) practice model.
Our leadership team will invest in the Team Leader progression as a professional in the Children’s sector, including a Therapeutic pathway amongst others, and provide all training required to meet the expectations of the role. You will be working alongside a Psychotherapist and within an integrated team. This will provide additional support when required.
Our Newly renovated home is for 4 young people that focusses on supporting them in an integrated treatment plan. As Team Leader you will be a role model for both children and staff.
Working 39 hours per week, you must be able to commit to between 2-3 sleep-ins per week, you will be paid an additional payment of £50 per sleep-in for this.
In this role you need to be emotionally aware and resilient to be able to support the young people and the staff team you will be working with.
A driver’s licence is essential for this role, as you will be driving with the Young People in the car.
