SALARY: £21,395 - £24,701 per annum + £36 per sleep in + Generous Benefits
LOCATION: Rochester, Kent
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 39 hours per week on a flexible working shift pattern which includes working weekends, bank holidays, religious/cultural celebrations, and sleep-in duties

Here at Five Rivers Child Care we are looking for Residential Childcare Support Workers to come and join our new home and new edge of care service based in Rochester, Kent.
Our new service is tailored for young people aged 12+ and as a Residential Childcare Support Worker you will be supporting, guiding and help shaping our young people’s future.
Working as a Residential Childcare Support Worker you will be able to contribute to the delivery of the highest standards of care, protection and support to children who require a 16 - week assessment (TALE) to identify the most suitable permanency placement and by facilitating their physical, social, psychological, and emotional development through the application of Five Rivers Attachment Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) practice model.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a care sector with children and young people and working as part of a team. Youth work sector is also desirable.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
- Must have a Full UK driving licence - this is essential for the home
- Must have a passion to work with children
- Flexibility and understanding is a must, as we are open all year round so must be able to commit to the role 365 days a year on a rota basis
