Residential Property Inspector – Block / Estate / Building Facilities Coordinator that has an eye for detail, has excellent customer service skills and works to high standards is required by a well-established Property Management Company based in London.

 

SALARY: up to £25,000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance     

 

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must have a driving licence. If you prefer to travel by moped / motorbike rather than by a car, that’s fine as well.

AREA COVERED: This is a regional / roaming role and candidates will be expected to visit sites on a daily basis located in and around London and the M25 region.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Residential Property Inspector – Block / Estate / Building Facilities Coordinator that has an eye for detail, has excellent customer service skills and works to high standards.

Working as the Residential Property Inspector – Block / Estate / Building Facilities Coordinator you will work closely with the Company’s Property Management Team and be responsible for resourcing many of the routine inspections and basic tests required to keep our client’s properties safe, and in excellent condition.

Previous experience in a similar role would be extremely desirable. However, we will also consider candidates that have transferrable skills gained from working as a Facilities Assistant / Engineer, Cleaning Supervisor / Manager, Maintenance Manager / Supervisor or similar roles where you’ve had to inspect properties or the work carried out on properties, report faults and review third party services such as gardening, cleaning etc. to maintain quality standards.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Residential Property Inspector – Block / Estate / Building Facilities Coordinator:

  • Recording minor faults and breakages and reporting on the same to the Property Managers
  • Quality testing third party services like cleaning and gardening
  • Ensuring basic standards of Fire and General Health Safety are adhered to
  • Conducting and diligently recording information on certain routine tests (on items like emergency lights)

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Residential Property Inspector – Block / Estate / Building Facilities Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Candidates must have a driving licence. If you prefer to travel by moped / motorbike rather than by a car, that’s fine as well.
  • This is a regional / roaming role and candidates will be expected to visit sites on a daily basis located in and around London and the M25 region, so you must be fine with a field based role.
  • Good reporting skills
  • IT literate
  • Must have excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills as you may need to liaise with residents whilst on site
  • A basic understanding of Fire and General Health and Safety regulations would be desirable, although not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be extremely desirable.
