Job Description

Project Administrator & Coordinator with good administrative, organisational, presentation and communication skills is required for a well-established charity based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about domestic abuse prevention.

Candidates will need experience of working directly with groups of children and young people in an educational setting. You must also have great presentation skills.

SALARY: £22,937 pro rata (per annum based on WTE)   

LOCATION: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands (travel across Nottinghamshire will be required)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent & Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract Positions Available. The Fixed-Term Contract runs until July 2021 (subject to funding may be extended)

WORKING HOURS: 30 Hours per Week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Administrator & Coordinator with good administrative, organisational, presentation and communication skills.

Working as the Project Administrator & Coordinator you will lead and develop the charity’s Healthy Relationships and Domestic Abuse Awareness Programmes and Projects with children and young people.

As the Project Administrator & Coordinator you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with professionals, organisations, schools and facilitators, ensuring high quality service delivery and for continuing the development of the innovative services delivered across the whole community.

The successful candidate will be joining the charity during an exciting period of growth and will be able to play a role in shaping the future direction of healthy relationships prevention and education.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Project Administrator & Coordinator include:

  • Coordinating and delivering a Reaching Communities funded healthy relationships programme in Nottinghamshire Schools
  • Coordinating and delivering targeted programme in Nottinghamshire Schools
  • Continued development of the charity’s healthy relationship package for schools
  • Delivering teacher twilight and/or briefings to professionals
  • Developing key relationships with schools and other organisations working with children and young people across Nottinghamshire
  • Promoting toolkits and resources to schools and other organisations working with children and young people

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous project coordination experience
  • Experience of working directly with groups of children and young people in an educational setting
  • Facilitating groups and communicating information in learning environments, e.g. training, workshops, 1-1 work etc.
  • Knowledge of educational settings and services for children and young people
  • Ability to supervise and develop respectful relationships with team members, freelancers and external facilitators
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Able to plan, organise and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and network effectively with a wide range of people and organisations
  • Working knowledge of using IT and Microsoft Office
  • Happy and able to travel across Nottinghamshire and sometimes further a field
