Programme Manager who has excellent leadership and management skills combined with some technical insight ideally from a construction or capital-intensive background is required for a well-established company based in Inverness, Scotland.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Programme Manager to lead the project delivery team.

 

SALARY: £46,658 to £53,657 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package

LOCATION: The base location is the Head office, Inverness, Scotland. However, there is a flexible working policy in place, with the option of home working or working from one of their other locations in Scotland.

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an exciting and challenging role for a Programme Manager who has strong leadership and management skills combined with some technical insight ideally from a construction or capital-intensive background.

As the Programme Manager it is crucial you are projects qualified (e.g., Prince2 / Agile / Managing Successful Programmes, etc.) and have experience in Project Management with a proven track record of managing major public sector and private works.

Working as the Programme Manager you will oversee and lead the Project Management Office function managing a broad portfolio of projects while providing support and guidance, ensuring projects are delivered using ‘best practice’ delivered on time and within budget.

You will be expected to manage a number of projects directly as well as the oversight and delivery of a significant portfolio of diverse projects across the group of companies.

You will also be responsible for reporting to management on the progress of all projects.

Good communication skills and the ability to adapt within a constantly changing environment are key. You will be accountable for all the key Project Management Office services including planning, tracking costs, resource allocation, controls, risk and issue management, reporting and governance.
