Digital Marketing Content Product Manager who has significant experience of planning and managing large scale web content projects with multiple stakeholders and a degree in Marketing, Arts or Humanities (or equivalent) is required to join our friendly team at Guide Dogs based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: £37,464 pro rata

LOCATION: Reading, Berkshire – with opportunities to work from home as well as the office

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital Marketing Content Product Manager who has significant experience of planning and managing large scale web content projects with multiple stakeholders and a degree in Marketing, Arts or Humanities (or equivalent).

As the Digital Marketing Content Product Manager you will work with colleagues in Operations, Brand and Digital to transform canine information into a suite of digital content for service users, volunteers and the public.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Digital Marketing Content Product Manager include:

  • Review all available information (including existing web content) and work with colleagues in Operations, Fundraising and Volunteering, resolve any duplication or contradiction to create one source of reliable information
  • Work with colleagues in the Information and Advice team to gain a clear understanding of the canine information that the public is looking for
  • Work with the Senior Digital Performance Specialist and Information and Advice team to understand how the existing canine web content is performing from the perspectives of analytics and SEO
  • Work with Operations, Volunteering and Fundraising to understand the needs of various audiences for canine content
  • Collaborate with the Senior Video Producer and YouTube Product Manager, sharing findings on audience needs, and working together to maximise efficiencies and customer impact
  • Create and maintain a shared content planner with audience, topics and channels clearly outlined
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure that best use is made of both the content planner and promotional opportunities
  • Create an information architecture and user journey for a new “All About Dogs” area on the Charity’s website for the general public
  • Copy-write and build the new “All About Dogs” area on the website, ensuring that all pages are SEO-optimised (for the public)
  • Liaise with Creative Services Manager to advise on any requirements for PDFs

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Marketing, Arts or Humanities degree or equivalent
  • Significant experience of planning and managing large scale web content projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Significant experience of web copywriting and SEO optimisation
  • Significant experience of building web content via a CMS
  • Significant experience of UX design
  • Search engine optimisation for web content writing
  • Google Analytics
  • Outstanding web copywriting and editing, including excellent spelling, syntax and grammar
  • Ability to review and make sense of large amounts of information from different sources
  • Outstanding CMS build skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder negotiation and management
  • Excellent team working, collaboration and flexibility
