Digital and Ecommerce Product Analyst with strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a keen interest in Digital Commerce and User Experience (UX) Design is required for a well-established global company.

 

SALARY: £22,000 per annum

LOCATION: Either hybrid working or working in the office in Market Harborough

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday- 37.5 hours a week

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital and Ecommerce Product Analyst with strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a keen interest in Digital Commerce and User Experience (UX) Design.

Working as a Digital and Ecommerce Product Analyst you will be an integral part of the Ecommerce Team, which is responsible for the full end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, coordination, documentation, and ongoing support to end of life.

The role will be working across a variety of multi-platform digital products including websites, online customer service portal, digital entitlement, and checkout processes. 

As a Digital and Ecommerce Product Analyst you will be working alongside product stakeholders including: clients, partners, end-users, vendors, sales staff, product management staff, technical and development staff, operations, client management and marketing staff to enhance and improve the assigned products.

As a Digital and Ecommerce Product Analyst you will be expected to support the Ecommerce Manager to deliver the digital strategy and be able to communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and effectively translate them into requirements documentation and user stories.

DUTIES

  • Maintaining confidentiality of the company and its clients’ proprietary information
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of assigned product lines, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Participate in product strategy by providing input from research and marketplace trends
  • Take full ownership of assigned product lines, supporting their full lifecycle and maintaining all associated documentation
  • Translation of requirements into documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Statement of Works/User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Create and maintain User Guide documentation for external and internal stakeholders to support product lines
  • Create and maintain Product Brochures for assigned product lines ensuring demonstrations are given to relevant stakeholders post launch
  • Assist with the estimation of resources and time within the product function required to complete identified tasks
  • Conduct product feature demonstrations to internal staff, current clients and prospective clients when requested
  • Update and maintain a log of products and features by client
  • Provide support to the QA function by conducting on going usability and quality testing, conducting post-release product testing, and ensuring knowledge transfer to BAU support is carried out in a timely manner
  • Assist with the estimation of resources and time within the product function required to complete identified tasks
  • Organise and lead both internal and external meetings when requested

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of how to interpret customer/business needs and translate these into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate in meetings and to communicate technical issues using simple and clear language in both verbal and written form
  • Methodical and thoughtful approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently with clients when required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage your own time effectively
  • Possess a good understanding and keen interest in the role of technology in business transformation and operational efficiency
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands on experience using Website Content Management Systems (CMS) is desirable
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is desirable
