We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations Supervisor that has excellent operational and team management and leadership / supervisory skills.

Your responsibilities as the Operations Supervisor will involve managing all site operations in order to meet or exceed customer service, contractual arrangements and financial performance objectives.

Ideally, as an Operations Supervisor you will have management experience preferably gained within a 24/7 service organisation. You will also have excellent organisational, time-management and leadership skills.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Operations Supervisor:

  • Plan and manage all site operations in order to meet or exceed customer service, contractual arrangements and financial performance objectives
  • Maintain timely and appropriate systems and procedures for measuring, monitoring, controlling and reporting on key operational, financial and people performance indicators
  • Ensure that all site activities comply with organisational policies, established procedures and core values in respect of employee management, customer service, health and safety and quality and the environment
  • Manage, support and motivate staff, identify training needs; undertake development activities to achieve the required standards of performance and to contribute to the continuous improvement process within the business
  • Taking ownership of local customer issues and proactively seek resolutions taking preventative action to prevent reoccurrence
  • Support the site manager with absence management, taking a proactive approach to reduce absence rates, and to identify and raise any potential issues/concerns with the minimum of delay
  • Ensure all company policies and employee communications are effectively conveyed to shift personnel
  • Ensure all KPI’s are met and recorded efficiently and effectively in line with company targets and Best Practice
  • Undertake monthly team brief meetings to all staff through a PowerPoint presentation

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant management experience preferably within a 24/7 service organisation
  • Ability to organise and motivate staff
  • Proactive with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to identify solutions as well as problems in a high volume, sensitive environment
  • Customer focussed attitude
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full Driving Licence is essential
