Job Description

Charity Fundraising / Marketing Operations Officer, known within the organisation as a ‘Face to Face Officer’ with excellent organisational, time-management, administrative, campaign management customer service and people skills is required by the Guide Dogs.

 

SALARY: £27,472 to £29,091 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Charity Fundraising / Marketing Operations Officer, known within the organisation as a ‘Face to Face Officer’ with excellent organisational, time-management, administrative, campaign management customer service and people skills.

Working as the Charity Fundraising / Marketing Operations Officer you will become an integral member of the Face-to-Face Fundraising Channel Team.

As the Charity Fundraising / Marketing Operations Officer within our busy Channel Team, you will be part of a team responsible for bringing 50,000 new committed donors into Guide Dogs. Working across a wide range of tasks your key areas of responsibility will be managing compliance and complaints for our In House and Agency Fundraising teams and managing external suppliers.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Charity Fundraising / Marketing Operations Officer:

  • Monitor and manage compliance across Face to Face Fundraising both internally & across external suppliers, ensuring best practise targets are exceeded
  • Manage the day to day relationship with external suppliers and the Internal Compliance Executive to ensure quality work is delivered, within the defined schedule and at a competitive cost.
  • Continually monitor the industry including regulatory & legislative changes to ensure compliance and best practice at all times
  • Day-to-day management of external fundraising suppliers including dealing with queries and communication, monitoring performance, analysing results and managing delivery of the campaign within pre-identified targets and budgets
  • Day-to-day management of Face-to-Face complaints, logging, investigating and monitoring complaint levels. Liaise with Supporter Care to ensure process is optimised
  • Analysis and regular reporting on complaint levels
  • Work with other Charity teams to ensure the smooth delivery of planned fundraising activity. Ensure all communications are clear and there is visibility of F2F activity across the organisation
  • Input into the Channel Team & wider departmental plans and strategies from a compliance and best practice position to help achieve targets, utilising the face to face stream in conjunction with other areas of Fundraising as and when required

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven organisational skills; ability to maintain several projects simultaneously and manage own workload
  • Proven understanding of industry compliance and best practice, ideally within fundraising or a similar industry
  • Experience working with and managing external suppliers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good sense of judgement
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
