Operations & Administration Support Supervisor who has good organisational, time-management, team leadership, customer service and administrative skills is required to join our friendly team at Guide Dogs.

 

SALARY: £22,958 - £27,878 per annum

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations & Administration Support Supervisor who has good organisational, time-management, team leadership, customer service and administrative skills.

Working as the Operations & Administration Support Supervisor you will deliver a professional and pleasant work environment within the regional centres or community teams.

As the Operations & Administration Support Supervisor you will ensure that anyone who engages with the local office whether in person or through virtual means will experience high standards or customer service, people centred service and efficient professional and administrative support.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Operations & Administration Support Supervisor include:

  • Working closely with Operations Support Manager to update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all incoming customer queries are proficiently handled
  • Providing line management, coaching and training of onsite Operations Support Coordinators and volunteers
  • Supports and coordinates planning and provisions in relation to any service-related activity undertaken by team staff
  • Provides office reception services as required, greeting and assisting visitors and setting up facilities for meetings on site
  • Maintains paper and computer-based inputting and customer or volunteer records in line with process standards and General Data Protection Regulations
  • Incoming and out-going post
  • Raising purchase orders & expense requisitions
  • General communications, Newsletters and mail shots
  • Production and distribution of support materials to stakeholders
  • Stock maintenance for office materials / site provisions
  • Trains and provides ongoing support to local staff and new starters in the use of information and office systems as required
  • Assists in the planning of in-house or off-site activities, like events, celebrations, meetings, conferences
  • Liaises with volunteers as required to support volunteer managers

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 GCSE passes including Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent
  • Excellent written, verbal and reading skills
  • Good level of mathematics for financial data processing
  • Experience within a customer service, office or administration role
  • Involvement in leading or supporting projects to successful conclusion
  • Extensive experience within a supervisory role
  • Experience completing basic Health and Safety risk assessments
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Any project management or management qualification would be highly desirable
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
