Maintenance Operative / Caretaker who has good general DIY skills with excellent customer service, organisational and time-management skills is required for a well-established holiday resort set within the natural beauty of Kinloch Rannoch that offers breath-taking views, calm waters and outdoor adventures for their guests.

 

SALARY: £9.50 per hour or £8.91 per hour where accommodation is provided

LOCATION: Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire, Scotland         

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

The holiday resort is open 7 days a week throughout most of the year so need people to work a range of shifts and days – this means great flexibility is required.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Maintenance Operative / Caretaker who has good general DIY skills with excellent customer service, organisational and time-management skills.

Working as the Maintenance Operative / Caretaker you will assist the Maintenance Manager in areas including decorating, general maintenance, fire safety, water safety, electrical and gas safety and pest control etc.

As the Maintenance Operative / Caretaker you will maintain and repair external areas of the buildings and surrounding areas. You will also comply with all areas of statutory and Company regulations relating to Health and Safety, Hygiene, conduct of employees, fire procedures, security of premises and property.

As the Maintenance Operative / Caretaker you will also provide assistance with in-house health & safety inspections, where necessary, ensuring that all records and risk assessments are accurately maintained and updated.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates will have following skills, experience and attributes:
  • Must have good DIY skills with the ability to use hand tools and electrical tools
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial
  • Excellent time management skills and to be able to multi-task during busy periods
  • Being able to communicate effectively with all members of staff and management and also with holiday guests
  • Excellent level of customer service
  • Paying close attention to detail
  • Being able to comply with all statutory and company regulations
