DUTIES
Your duties as the Learning and Development Manager / L&D Training Manager include:
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Identify training needs through analysis of skills gaps and performance evaluations
- Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and materials
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure training initiatives meet specific departmental requirements
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within not for profit / charity / third sector organisations. Although, industry experience isn’t essential
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications in training and development or a related field (e.g., CIPD) would be highly desirable
