DUTIES

Your duties as the Learning and Development Manager / L&D Training Manager include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Identify training needs through analysis of skills gaps and performance evaluations
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and materials
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure training initiatives meet specific departmental requirements
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within not for profit / charity / third sector organisations. Although, industry experience isn’t essential
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications in training and development or a related field (e.g., CIPD) would be highly desirable
