Salesforce Administrator / IT Project Manager with a documented history of successful project completion, strong Salesforce interest and the ability to quickly master new technology with previous experience in a similar role is required by Guide Dogs.

 

Candidates must be Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified for this role

 

SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

LOCATION: This role is office based.  Preferences for office location is flexible and will be discussed at interview stage.                             

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm with a half hour lunch or 9am – 5.30pm with an hour lunch, Monday to Friday (the charity is always keen to support flexible working as best they can)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Salesforce Administrator / IT Project Manager with a documented history of successful project completion, strong Salesforce interest and the ability to quickly master new technology with previous experience in a similar role.

Salesforce provides an operational view of all the Charity's people and dog data. It is the foundation for their digital transformation as well as supporting staff to manage information crucial to the provision of services.

Working as the Salesforce Administrator / IT Project Manager you will become a key part of the Technology Applications Development and Support team, taking ownership of key processes and tasks related to the ongoing maintenance of Guide Dogs Salesforce Platform.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Salesforce Administrator / IT Project Manager will include:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 1500+ users
  • Manage the Salesforce helpdesk functions
  • Handle administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, approval processes, validation rules
  • Work on less complex Salesforce integrations
  • Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set
  • Document customisations made in Salesforce
  • Plan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects
  • Managing agreed system and development standards

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the IT Salesforce Business Analyst you will have:

Essential

  • Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • A documented history of successful project completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes
  • Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology
  • Demonstrable experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Excellent project management skills, preferably in an Agile framework
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritise simultaneous requests
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to critically evaluate and prioritise information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
