Insight and Customer Research Manager who has experience conducting or commissioning qualitive research, quantitative research and customer insights analysis is required by Guide Dogs based in London.

 

SALARY: £38,793 - £40,834  per annum (includes £4,105 London Weighting)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity within our marketing team for an Insight and Customer Research Manager who has experience conducting or commissioning qualitive research, quantitative research and customer insights analysis.

The Insight and Customer Research Manager helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by using research to better understand the needs of people living with sight loss.

As the Insight and Customer Research Manager, you will have full ownership of the research commissioning process, taking responsibility for creating a customer segmentation model to provide a deep understanding of our customers’ perceptions and beliefs about Guide Dogs.

Through pro-actively using data, you will provide insight and strategic recommendations to drive the development and delivery of person-centred services and help direct all our marketing activities.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Insight and Customer Research Manager:

  • Provide a deep understanding of our customers perceptions and beliefs about Guide Dogs
  • Create a customer segmentation model which will help direct all our marketing activities
  • Translate customer data into insight and share this with the wider organisation to help drive person-centred thinking, behaviours and decision making
  • Work closely with research and operations to ensure customer insight and research informs service development and delivery
  • Track and forecast the impact of Guide Dogs activities, particularly marketing, on customer beliefs, and provide guidance on how best to impact on these in order to improve brand metrics and ROI, including leadership of CHEW
  • Liaise with commissioned external agencies and internal clients to scope market and customer insight projects and ensure that such activities remain compliant with Guide Dogs' needs and expectations - in terms of providing timely, meaningful, actionable insights
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure consumer panels and the data they provide are used to maximum potential to drive brand and campaign research.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will be a strategic thinker with experience in a similar customer insight and research role within an agency setting. Alongside this you will have:

  • Demonstratable experience of conducting/commissioning qualitative research, quantitative research and customer insights analysis taking ownership of the full process
  • Demonstratable experience of working with brand metrics and developing associated KPIs
  • Demonstratable experience of communicating market and insight outputs and complex data/concepts to a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Proven ability to form positive relationships with external agencies, partner organisations and internal collaborators
  • Proven ability of working to strict deadlines and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proven experience of pro-actively using data to make actionable outcomes
  • Proven experience of using Excel for quant data manipulation
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
