SALARY: £30,585 - £32,416 per annum + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Advisor who has a good generalist background covering the full range of human resource activities with excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills.

With approximately 1,300 students and 250 employees it is a dynamic and changing environment where collegiality and professionalism are both required and expected.
The school is keen to appoint a qualified and experienced HR Advisor who will provide support to the Senior Leadership Team and HR Partner in providing an effective and efficient HR service to the school. The function of the role will encompass training in, and aiding, across the entire spectrum of school HR reporting and management.
As the HR Advisor you will be CIPD qualified or working towards, with proven experience within an human resources function, managing casework effectively, ideally within an Education setting (preferably a Secondary Academy) will also receive favourable consideration.
As the HR Advisor is essential that you have experience in managing a full range of HR activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, recruitment, staff well -being, maternity/paternity/adoption, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, restructuring, safeguarding (including overseeing the Single Central Register) and internal communications. Some knowledge of payroll and pensions administration will be required.
As a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience.
- Previous experience within a generalist human resources role
- CIPD qualified or working towards it
- A highly motivated individual
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- Demonstrate excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex data and report and action on it
- You must able to work with initiative to tight deadlines and resilience under pressure
