SALARY: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Car Allowance + On Call Allowance + Generous Benefits (See Below)
LOCATION: Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, North East England – There will be some requirement to travel between the other Midland & North offices in Chesterfield, Bromsgrove and Doncaster

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fostering Team Manager who has sound knowledge of Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards with strong leadership qualities and a passion for improving the outcomes for Children.
As the Fostering Team Manager you will join the Thornaby Office as part of the Midlands & North Region rated Good by Ofsted. There will be some requirement to travel between the other Midland & North offices in Chesterfield, Bromsgrove and Doncaster.
Working as the Fostering Team Manager for Five Rivers has many benefits arising from its commitment as a Social Enterprise to invest heavily in the services it provides to Foster Carers, children, and members of the staff team. The successful applicant with be expected to lead this team in securing safe and resilient placement matches with our approved foster carers and continue to increase carer recruitment growth.
The Fostering Team Manager should be able to demonstrate a dynamic approach to the growth and sustainability of the service and evidence of a creative eye for opportunities to expand the service. You will also be required to be the Panel Advisor for all Panel business and provide a Quality Assurance role for Annual Reviews and Form F assessments.
Five Rivers works from a Trauma informed (ATIC) model with integration across our fostering, residential, clinical and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. You will be joining a developing service with an impressive carer recruitment pipeline.
- The desire to be a team player who wants to achieve best possible outcomes for all children and foster carers
- Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care
- A formal social work qualification
- Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England
- Have a valid driving license
- The right to work in the UK
