Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent

Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent who is self-motivated and well organised with a wealth of experience in direct selling and managing a large logistical area is required for a well-established Construction Company covering their South East Territory.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have Field Sales Experience

SALARY: £30,000 Basic Salary per annum

LOCATION: The role involves travel around the South East Territory.  The allocated areas are – Northants, Bucks, Beds, Herts, Cambs, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, London and its outer postcode areas. 

For the efficient servicing of this large area, residing in a central area such as Surrey or Middlesex would be practical.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent who is self-motivated and well organised with a wealth of experience in direct selling and managing a large logistical area.

Working as the Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent you will report directly to the Management Team and will be required to ‘hit the ground running’ from the start, making use of lead information already available on the company’s CRM system, as well as sourcing your own leads and opportunities.

As the Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent you will communicate and build relationships with end users, architects and contractors.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Agent you will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven track record in field sales / direct selling is essential

• Experience of selling to the construction market is desirable

• Knowledge of self-build, house builder/developer, specification markets would be a distinct advantage

• Confident in carrying out basic site surveys and ability to carry out these surveys at height (some specific training will be provided)

• Self-motivated and well organised

• Able to manage a large logistical area

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
