Job Description

B2B New Business Development Field Sales Manager who can prospect / identify and develop B2B Customers within an assigned territory with the ability to sell a range of equipment and support services is required for a Global Premium Manufacturing Company.

Ideally you will have significant experience of selling capital equipment and service solutions via leasing / rental models, ideally gained from a technical solution sales led product / service background.

 

SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Basic Salary (Depending on Experience) + £20,000 per annum Bonus / Commission

TERRITORY / REGION: Candidates will cover the West Midlands and South West territory – There may also be times when you have to travel UK wide and to the Parent Company in Germany – Candidates MUST be willing to stay overnight if required.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a B2B New Business Development Field Sales Manager who can prospect / identify and develop B2B Customers within an assigned territory with the ability to sell a range of equipment and support services.

As the B2B New Business Development Field Sales Manager, you will take up this key appointment in the West Midlands and South West territory, which boasts one of the industry’s highest density of its target market customer base.  This also makes it the Company’s strongest competitive environment.

Working as the B2B New Business Development Field Sales Manager is not for the faint-hearted! This role is for new business acquisition and the successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience of turning a technically led sale into a value-added proposition sale in order to maximise both revenue and profitability, by identifying and creating opportunities for the Company’s range of equipment and support services. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with multi-level main board and operational selling skills to join a Company that, whilst being part of a major corporate, operates very much as an SME with a family run feel.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the B2B New Business Development Field Sales Manager you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Strategic thinker able to source, create and identify opportunities to sell the Company’s proposition into New Customers
  • Significant experience of selling capital equipment and service solutions via leasing / rental models ideally gained from a technical and solution sales led product / service
  • Understanding of how to position the proposition and articulate how it fits into the customers operation and consider the individual buyer’s considerations within the decision-making unit
  • Understanding that success is driven through a combination of hi-activity and strong sales skills
  • Professional presentation skills
  • MS Office and IT savvy
  • Used to working within an SME environment (The Company is a small and dedicated UK team focused on financial goals and customer excellence) alongside corporate structure and standards
  • Comfortable and willingness to travel and have overnight stays across the West Midlands, South West England and occasionally across the UK and Parent Company in Germany
  • Hunger for success
