eCommerce Administrative Assistant / Online Retail Digital Marketing Executive with good administration, organisational, time-management and communication skills who is keen to start or develop their career within E-Commerce / Digital Marketing is required by Guide Dogs.

Previous CMS (Content Management System) experience would be highly desirable, although not essential

 

SALARY: £21,568 - £22,838 per annum

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an eCommerce Administrative Assistant / Online Retail Digital Marketing Executive (known within the organisation as an Ecommerce and Retail Executive) with good administration, organisational, time-management and communication skills who is keen to start or develop their career within E-Commerce / Digital Marketing.

Working as the eCommerce Administrative Assistant / Online Retail Digital Marketing Executive you will support the day-to-day management of the online shop, catalogue and 3rd party marketplaces. This role is pivotal to the expansion and development of Guide Dogs’ commercial objectives.

As the eCommerce Administrative Assistant / Online Retail Digital Marketing Executive you will have a genuine customer centric focus to ensure the content provides the best customer experience. You will also need excellent planning, organisational and communication skills with a desire to start of develop a career within an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the eCommerce Administrative Assistant / Online Retail Digital Marketing Executive:

  • Support the eCommerce Team in the day-to-day smooth running of the online shop, catalogue and 3rd party marketplaces
  • Undertake various administrative tasks, e.g. registering and sending documentation to new suppliers, raising purchase orders, placing orders etc.
  • Set up and manage the stock spreadsheet, keeping the Team updated on any stock issues
  • Support content production i.e. photography and videography, liaise with third party suppliers and attend product photo shoots if required
  • Assist with reporting
  • Liaise with internal Customer Service Teams
  • Support the team with marketing campaigns such as Direct Mail, PPC (Pay Per Click), SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Display, Affiliate Marketing etc.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate about digital and retain distance selling, ecommerce or digital marketing
  • Customer centric attitude
  • Ability to understand how content impacts the best customer experience
  • Excellent written skills, experience in writing copy for ecommerce websites
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Some knowledge of UX, UI and customer journey principles
  • Awareness of web analytics and google analytics
  • Some knowledge of accessibility with reference to sight loss in the digital arena
  • Previous CMS (Content Management System) experience would be highly desirable, although not essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
