CMS / Website Content Management Digital Delivery Manager who has good team leadership, organisational, project management and communications skills is required by Guide Dogs based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: £34,688 to £36,729 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CMS / Website Content Management Digital Delivery Manager who has good team leadership, organisational, project management and communications skills.

Working as the CMS / Website Content Management Digital Delivery Manager you will ensure the production of quality content and a seamless user experience for the Guide Dogs website through leadership of a team of producers.

As the CMS / Website Content Management Digital Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of web-based projects and the continuous improvement of our users experiences and will play an integral part in the delivery of our digital transformation strategy.

As an ideal candidate you will have experience of managing both a website and a team of producers, as well as experience of working in an organisation moving to work in an agile way. You will have demonstrable ability to take ownership and make decisions in a matrix led environment. You will be user focussed, service orientated, be able to manage stakeholders, have excellent organisational and diplomacy skills, and be able to manage resources well.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the CMS / Website Content Management Digital Delivery Manager:

  • Work closely with the head of digital and applicable digital product owners to define and agree user stories and acceptance criteria and maintain the product backlog
  • Effectively prioritise the product backlog by balancing and championing both business and user needs, triage all known bugs across the team and work with the approved web development supplier/s to fix any outstanding issues
  • Implement effective methods of managing prioritisation for the throughput of work across the website team, managing resources effectively
  • Use critical thinking to get to the root of any website issues
  • Put the supporter needs and requirements firmly upfront and central in all delivery with a relentless focus on continually improving the user experience
  • Lead from the front, encouraging your own team and cross functional teams to develop user focused digital products that maximise value to Guide Dogs

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of managing both a website and a team of producers
  • Extensive experience of working in an organisation moving to work in an agile way
  • Delivery focussed with a sharp eye for detail
  • Experience in proactively identifying opportunities and problem solving
  • Demonstrable ability to take ownership and make decisions in a matrix led environment
  • Digital and Omnichannel areas (such as. payments and payment journeys, mobile, delivery proposition, user experience, content, email, analytics, digital marketing including social media)
  • Experience working with development teams and suppliers
  • Proven experience in embedding and championing new processes
  • Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders and capable of excellent communication in any environment
  • Content Management Systems experience, Sitecore preferred
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
