Data Quality Analyst who has experience reviewing and identifying data quality issues such as duplicate records, data corruption, etc. within databases, CRM systems, Excel Spreadsheets or similar systems with Advance Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge or relational databases is required by Guide Dogs.

 

SALARY: £21,568 - £22,838 pro rata

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Data Quality Analyst who has experience reviewing and identifying data quality issues such as duplicate records, data corruption, etc. within databases, CRM systems, Excel Spreadsheets or similar systems with Advance Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge or relational databases

Working as the Data Quality Analyst you will join the Finance and Business Services Team and will be tasked with identifying and resolving data quality issues.

As the Data Quality Analyst, you will also be required to cleanse current data and merge duplicated records identified by the Data Technology Architect, providing feedback on any training issue which arise to reduce the number of duplicate or incomplete records being added to the systems.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Data Quality Analyst:

  • Investigate the backlog of identified potential duplicate records, and merge as appropriate, ensuring data is not corrupted, and links to records on other systems are updated accordingly.
  • As part of the investigation work, assist with root cause analysis to identify any training issues or common factors which could be fixed to prevent duplicates records being created in future
  • Investigate the backlog of identified data quality issues which have arisen between records which are linked across core systems and correct data anomalies as appropriate. This may involve liaising with contact owners across the organisation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience of working in a similar data quality role, investigating and correcting issues
  • Demonstrable experience of adhering to agreed and documented processes
  • Demonstrable excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively under pressure and multitask including strong organisation skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
