SALARY: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum + Commission + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid Working from Home and the Office in Bath, Somerset

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Saturday (Saturdays are worked on a rota basis with a day off in lieu)

Working as the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Agent / Call Centre Customer Care Representative your responsibilities will include proficiently managing customer inquiries across email, social media, chat, and telephone platforms in a prompt and professional manner.

As the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Agent / Call Centre Customer Care Representative you will assume responsibility for a range of tasks, from providing product information and order updates to booking installations with the primary goal of resolving issues on the first attempt.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Agent / Call Centre Customer Care Representative will include:

  • Proficiently managing customer inquiries across email, social media, chat, and telephone channels with both promptness and professionalism
  • Taking ownership of a wide array of tasks, ranging from providing product information and order updates to addressing complaints, with the constant aim of achieving resolution on the initial attempt
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction by seeing a customer query through to its resolution
  • Scheduling installations, explaining the process thoroughly, and addressing any queries
  • Renewing contracts while ensuring that customers are fully informed about the actions taken
  • Engaging in problem-solving and contributing to the enhancement of operational processes within the team and across the broader business
  • Collaborating with colleagues by sharing information and updating our knowledge management systems
  • Undertaking any additional reasonable duties as necessary to ensure all our customers receive an exceptional experience

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable experience gained in a high volume B2C customer service centre
  • Experience in handling and owning complaints through to resolution and to timescales
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Google Analytics
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them clearly with customers
  • Confident and professional verbal and written communication
  • Good listener, able to identify customer needs and guide conversations to understand and resolve customer queries
  • Empathetic and able to relate to a wide-ranging demographic
  • Flexible approach and ability to meet deadlines
  • Desire to learn and takes initiative to develop professionally
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
