Community Partnerships Development Project Officer who has experience of grants / contracts or financial management with ideally experience working within the third sector is required by Guide Dogs.

 

SALARY: £28,989 and £35,199 per annum (The current salary progression within this role is up to £49,693 per annum)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Community Partnerships Development Project Officer who has experience of grants / contracts or financial management with ideally experience working within the third sector.

Working as the Community Partnerships Development Project Officer you will design the end-to-end community partner model and provide visible, high impact development support to pilot regions.

As the Community Partnerships Development Project Officer you will work with local staff to realise opportunities to grow in order to translate strategy into deliverables in effect providing user focussed and empowering sighted guide services to communities. The current salary progression within this role is up to £49,693 per annum.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Community Partnerships Development Project Officer will include:

  •  Design a robust and successful community partnership model with relevant stakeholders
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop a fit for purpose administration process that incorporates legal agreements, memorandums, financial compliance, grant administration and reporting incorporating procedures that clearly outline legal and financial obligations and enable payment of grants and expenditure management
  • Design and develop all training materials and collateral required to support the delivery of the community model
  • Work in partnership with:
  • IS and Digital to ensure all system requirements are mapped/scoped and planned accordingly
  • Marketing & Communications to ensure the correct preparation and delivery of internal/external marketing and communications
  • Work with regions to identify opportunities to recruit community partners
  • Own the customer journey for Community Partners applying eligibility criteria
  • Continually ensure stakeholder feedback is sought to improve quality and delivery of services

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience of grants / contract or financial management
  • Service design and improvement experience and able to evidence successful project outcomes
  • Substantial track record of customer relationship management in an organisation of comparable size and complexity in achieving results
  • Track record in supporting organisational change, influencing, building and sustaining relationships to achieve results
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

 

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working in the third sector in a customer or volunteer facing role
  • Experience of training design and delivery
  • Demonstrable experience of staff/volunteer management
  • Experience of charity governance
