Registered Children's Home Manager who has experience working with children and young people within learning disabilities, autism, ADHD is required for a residential home based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

 

SALARY: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum + Benefits (25 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays, Company Mobile Phone, NEST Pension Scheme, Enhanced DBS Check paid by the Company)

LOCATION: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Registered Children's Home Manager who has experience working with children and young people within learning disabilities, autism, ADHD.

Working as the Registered Children's Home Manager you will fully responsible and manage the day-to-day running for the children’s home, as well as being accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people resident within the home.

As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the support packages for the children and young people, increasing occupancy, supporting staff and the contribution to the continuous improvement of childcare standards through the Company.

As a successful candidate you will hold a QCF L5 in Leadership and Management in Children and Young People in Care.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Registered Children's Home Manager you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • QCF L5 in Leadership and Management in Children and Young People
  • Experience of working in a residential childcare setting
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Experience in managing a similar service
  • Ability to support, manage and develop staff through different strategies
  • GOOD or OUTSTANDING grade within your recent Ofsted (Required)
  • Excellent knowledge of OFSTED
  • UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
  • Working with Children & Young people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD.
