Job Description

Individual Giving Channel Manager with excellent leadership and strategic and operational management experience is required by a leading Charity based in Reading, Berkshire.


SALARY: £42,800 - £45,300 per annum (Depending on Experience)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Individual Giving Channel Manager that has excellent leadership and strategic and operational management experience.

Working as the Individual Giving Channel Manager you be responsible for the strategic management of the Tele-Fundraising and Face-to-Face Charity Fundraising Teams, with their respective managers reporting directly to you.

As the Individual Giving Channel Manager, you will also be tasked with the management of third party / external suppliers that provide a range of commercial fundraising activities on behalf of the Charity.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience within a similar role with knowledge of the PFRA Code of Conduct, IOF best practice and other relevant legislation.

We will also be interested to hear from candidates that have worked as an Operations Manager or managed a Telesales / Telemarketing / Tele-Fundraising or Field Based Sales Face-to-Face Team that has an understanding of the Charity Regulations and the legal requirements around fundraising activities.

Your duties and responsibilities as the Individual Giving Channel Manager:

  • Strategic development and management of the face-to-face and Tele-Fundraising channels
  • Monitoring income and expenditure targets for channels and ensure that timely and appropriate interventions are made
  • To be an active leader keeping staff morale up, involving them in both decision making and delivery
  • Managing compliance and complaints across all channels
  • Managing relationships with external agencies and service providers as and when required



  • Proven experience in channel management (either face to face or Tele-Fundraising)
  • Demonstrable track record in fundraising and or marketing handling a sizeable budget, analytical skills and understanding of Return on Investment
  • Knowledge of PFRA Code of Conduct, IOF best practice and other relevant legislation
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
