Job Description

Care Support Worker who is compassionate, caring, helpful and wants to make a real difference in supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs is required for a Residential Care Home based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

 

You may have previous experience working within a residential care setting with vulnerable people, however, we also welcome applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values that the organisation seeks in their team members.

 

SALARY: £8.30 - £8.40 per hour   

 

LOCATION: Birmingham, West Midlands   

 

JOB TYPE: Permanent

 

WORKING HOURS: Day and night positions available based on a 42 hour working week shift system which includes some weekend working

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Care Support Worker who is compassionate, caring, helpful and wants to make a real difference in supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

Working 42 hours per week on a flexible shift system the successful Care Support Worker will support the learning and mental health needs of the service user group and enable individuals to lead a meaningful and worthwhile life within the community giving practical help, care, guidance and support as detailed within the service user’s individual care plans and risk assessments.

As a Care Support Worker you may have previous experience working within a residential care setting with vulnerable people, however, we also welcome applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values that the organisation seek in their team members.
