Area Manager / Regional Client Account Manager who has excellent client management skills with the ability to grow your customer base and attend sales appointments and service existing customers within your designated region is required for a well-established facilities management company.

 

SALARY: £30,000 per annum (Basic Salary) / £32,000 OTE

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Area Manager / Regional Client Account Manager who has excellent client management skills with the ability to grow your customer base and attend sales appointments and service existing customers.

Working as the Area Manager / Regional Client Account Manager you will manage field operations in a designated geographical area and will be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of service for existing clients, securing new-business opportunities and developing a current portfolio of sub-contractors and direct cleaners. 

With support from Head Office Marketing and Customer Services teams, as the Area Manager / Regional Client Account Manager you will visit existing clients to monitor, assess and review service delivery, attending pre-arranged new business sales opportunities and self-generate opportunities to provide quotations and up-sell additional services, alongside developing existing and recruiting new sub-contractors and direct cleaners to ensure best coverage and service delivery across all customer sites.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Area Manager / Regional Client Account Manager you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Ideally with a background in field sales, selling / promoting a service
  • Well organised with excellent time-management skills
  • Target driven with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written
  • Living within Southampton or Guildford
  • Strong Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Sage CRM systems would be advantageous
  • Full driving licence with maximum of 3 penalty points
