Administrator / Seed Administration Assistant with excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills required for a well-established Company based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
SALARY: Negotiable + Benefits (25 Days Holiday Pro Rata plus Bank Holidays, Contributory Pension Scheme)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm (flexibility is required for busy periods)
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Seed Administration Assistant that has excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
Working as the Administrator / Seed Administration Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Company’s expanding Team. You will have experience of working in a challenging and demanding work environment.
As the Administrator / Seed Administration Assistant you will be enthusiastic, have excellent time management skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
Applicants will be fully IT literate and ideally have experience working within an administrative role. Some knowledge of the seed / agricultural industry would be beneficial though not essential as full industry / seed training will be provided.
In this industry, seasonal peaks are the norm. The Company require and offer some flexibility around the hours according to seasonal demands. You should be aware that due to the nature of the business no holidays are allowed during the months of July, August or September.
Your duties and responsibilities as the Administrator / Seed Administration Assistant will include:
- Carrying out all administration required including support at management level
- Provide support to all members of the Seed Hub team
- Processing of orders and data entry
- Deal with telephone and customer facing enquiries
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Good organisational, time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Seed Certification Qualification would be desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided
- IT literate. MS Office experience (MS Word, Excel, IFS or similar)
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential
